In 2017, Rich The Kid shocked the culture with the release of his viral hit “New Freezer” featuring Kendrick Lamar, earning him recognition as one of the pioneers of the city’s trap scene. His illustrious career includes iconic collaborations with Lil Wayne, Young Thug, Kodak Black, Lil Tjay and Migos, as well as a host of wildly popular singles. His 2018 debut full-length album, “The World Is Yours,” debuted at number two on the Billboard 200. Fast forward to 2024, and he and Playboi Carti produced their first number one single with “Carnival” from Ye and Ty Dolla Sign’s album “Vultures 1,” which also debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and stayed there for multiple weeks. The single “Carnival” spent multiple weeks at No. 1 on Spotify, Apple Music, Tik Tok and Billboard’s Hot 100, dethroning Beyoncé as one of the most streamed hip-hop songs of 2024.
Famous Dex hails from the South Side of Chicago, but as an aspiring lyricist, he is heavily influenced by Southern hip-hop. After chart success with his 2018 debut Dex Meets Dexter, he continued to work tirelessly, releasing mixtapes after mixtape, making his name in the industry. Famous Dex eventually signed with RFM and charted on the Billboard Hot 100 with his collaboration with A$AP Rocky, “Pick It Up.” In 2020, he released his second studio album, Diana, which pays tribute to his mother and features guest appearances from Trippie Redd and Wiz Khalifa. Born and raised in New York, Jay Critch was considered a local hero when he first broke out on the music scene in 2017, despite having been honing his skills since he was 14 years old. He knows how to interpret stories of East Coast vibes with a unique coolness, which is why he becomes more and more talked about every time he belts out his gold-dazzling bars. This multi-talented spitfire has worked with an impressive array of designers, including Cardi B, French Montana and A Boogie wit da Hoodie.
